The Revelers at the Red Room - and elsewhere

Thanks to Sharon Loughrin of the Red Room at Cookstown, Co. Tyrone, for news of the Revelers Cajun 'supergroup' (above) from Lafayette, Louisiana. The Revelers were formed by a conjunction of the founding members of the Red Stick Ramblers and the Pine Leaf Boys. Last year Kirsty Fitzsimons of the Ubangi Stomp Club and Dublin City FM considered their debut album 'gorgeous – full of joy from start to finish'. Sharon writes:

They arrive into Ireland tomorrow night [Mon. 24 Mar.] and are availing of 'the Red Room welcome hug' experience before they play their first Irish gig in Ballybofey on Tuesday night. After that it's the Glens Centre in Manorhamilton on Wednesday; Clonmel on Thursday; The Sky and the Ground (Wexford) on Friday, up to us on Saturday night for the Red Room concert, and finishing in Whelans, Dublin, next Sunday night.
