Random Canyon Growlers at the Red Room

Thanks to Sharon Loughrin at the Red Room, Cookstown, Co. Tyrone, who reports:

We had an amazing night here in the barn at the Red Room with the Random Canyon Growlers last night, our biggest crowd yet at one of our house concerts - well over fifty in the audience. There's still time to catch this great American bluegrass band in St John's Theatre, Listowel, Co. Kerry, on Wed. 31 Oct.; the Belfast Barge on Fri. 2 Nov.; and the Fifty Six Bar, Arklow, Co. Wicklow, on Sun. 4 Nov. Added to this is an appearance at the Ulster American Folk Park, Omagh, where the band will play three-quarter-hour sets at 1 o'clock and 3 o'clock. The chance to hear some very fine bluegrass music is an added attraction to what would make a good day out, the Park looks beautiful at this time of year with its autumn colour.

It would be great to pull a few in both for the band and for the Folk Park. They're a lovely bunch of fellas and we had a great night (and into early morning) with Colin Henry and Janet Holmes also stopping over.
