Michael Miles in Ireland and England, Sept. 2012

Thanks again to Michael J. Miles (USA), clawhammer banjo player extraordinaire (to use a serious understatement), for the news that there is now a new page on his website, devoted to his trip to these islands last month, which - as Michael points out - marked the international debut of his one-man show 'From Senegal to Seeger: stories of the American banjo' in three new countries.

The new page features over a dozen photographs from his travels and performances, including the finale (above) of the Johnny Keenan Banjo Festival in Tullamore (Michael, with banjo, appears left of centre), and the Ulster American Folk Park at Omagh.
